As part of World Wetland Day, 2021 Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change's (MoEFCC) ENVIS Resource Partner at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore conducting a “National Photography and Article writing Competitions” that engages students, researchers, and teachers in wetland conservation and management of invasive species.
Theme: “Invasive Alien Species in Wetlands”
Registration is free and the last date of submission is extended till 14th February 2021
Eligibilities
· These competitions are open to Students/Research Scholars/Faculties enrolled in any UG/PG/Ph.D. course or academicians, in India.
Publication
· Selected articles and photographs as recommended by the Editorial Board, shall be published in the ENVIS Newsletter on Biological Invasion.
Certificates
· Articles chosen for publication shall be awarded a e-Certificates of merit.
Registration Details
· There is no fee required for registration or submission.
Submission Guidelines for Articles
· The file must be in .doc/.docx format
· Language of the Article must be in English
· Each submission must have its own title and details of the author [Name of the Author(s), and the Name of the Institution].
· The body of the submission must be in the format as specified. [Font: Times New Roman, Size:12, Line-Spacing: 1.5, Alignment: Justified].
· Submission must contain footnotes, wherever required. All footnotes must be in the format as specified. [Font: Times New Roman, Size: 10, Line-Spacing: 1.0, Alignment: Justified].
· The maximum word limit for the articles is 1500 words.
· An article can be co-authored by a maximum of two participants.
· The file name of the submission must be as follows:
a. In case of Single Author –e.g. Maya Mahajan.docx
b. In case of Co-authors – e.g. Magesh & Maya.docx

Submission Guidelines for Photographs
· The photograph should depict the theme “Invasive Alien Species in Wetlands”
· The photograph must be original and no watermark of any kind should be
on the photograph.
· The photograph must be of the highest resolution possible
· A caption must be given for the photograph.
